THE CREATOR
God creates the world, means He makes it and He creates it from nonexistence, “The Creator” with “The” is only for God, the Great and Almighty, and man can be named (called) as a creator with-out forbiddance, but not to call or describe him (man) as “The Creator”, and this is taken from His saying:
“Man we did create from a quintessence (of clay); Then we placed him as (a drop of) sperm in a place of rest, firmly fixed; then we made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot we made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then we developed out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah, the Best to create!” (AL-MUMINOON – VERSES 12, 13, 14)
So, His saying: “so blessed be Allah, the Best to create) indicates that God, the Great and Almighty, called the man as creator with consider that man’s create is a nonexistent create from an existent, while God’s create is an existent create from nonexistent. For example: we can see that the man creates the car from an available (accessible) obtainable materials in the world like mineral and others, and if these materials were not available, then man couldn’t made or create a car.
But for God, the Great and Almighty it is different, that He creates things from absolute, which means nonexistence, so He –be He blessed- creates thing which is not existing at all, and God confirm (assert) about the creation from nonexistence in many Koranic verses as He said: “He said: so (it will be): thy Lord saith, That is easy for me: I did indeed create thee before, when thou hadst been nothing!” (MARYAM – VERSE 9)
And His saying: “Has there not been over Man along period of Time, when he was nothing – (not even) mentioned” (AL-INSAAN – VERSE 1)
That means man was not existent –found- before God created him. His saying: “It is He who beginneth the process of creation, and repeateth it, that He may reward, with justice those who believe and work righteousness” (YUNUS – VERSE 4)
And His saying: “Say: ‘of your ‘partners’, can any originate creation and repeat it’” (YUNUS – VERSE 34)
And His saying: “even as we produced the first creation, so shall we produce a new one” (AL-ANBIYAA – VERSE 104)
And God didn’t confirm the truth of creation from nonexistent only, but He confirm another truth that every thing –except God- is a creation that has an obedience to his order, and there is no exception in this rule, and in this God said: “It is He who created all things, and ordered them in due proportions” (AL- FURQAAN – VERSE 2)
And His saying: “Say: ‘Allah is the creator of all things: He is the one, the supreme and Irresistible” (AL-RAAD – VERSE 16)
And His saying: “Allah is the creator of all things, and He is the Guardian and Disposer of all affairs” (AZ-ZUMAR – VERSE 62)
And His saying: “Such is Allah, your Lord, the creator of all things, there is no god but He” (GHAAFIR – VERSE 62)
And He said: “That is Allah, your Lord! There is no god but Hr, the creator of all things: then worship ye Him” (AL-ANAAM – VERSE 102)
So because of the importance of this matter, God –to whom belongs might and majesty- closed the way in the face of innovators- (authors). He didn’t content with the generalization that is mentioned in the previous verses, but He explained this verse with other verses to confirm that everything is created and to confirm that He is the creator of everything, some of these verses is His saying: “It is He who hath created for you all things that are on earth” (AL-BAQARAH – VERSE 29)
And His saying: “Praise be to Allah, who created the heavens and the earth, and made the Darkness and the light” (AL-ANAAM – VERSE 1)
And His saying: “It is He who created the Night and the Day, and the sun and the moon” (AL-ANBIYAA – VERSE 33)
And His saying: “He who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between, in six days” (AL-FURQAAN – VERSE 59)
And the saying: “The Most Gracious! It is He who has taught the Quran, He has created man: He has taught him an intelligent speech” (AL-RAHMAN – VERSES 1,2,3,4)
And His saying: “And He created Jinn’s from fire free of smoke” (AL-RAHMAN – VERSE 15)
And the character of creating from nonexistence for God –to whom belongs might and majesty- is not only one miracle (miraculous) but many imbricate miracles, and mind cannot, that creating something from nothing is a miracle that mind fails to imagine, and creating a living being (creature) who discerns himself and to discern the world around him and to discern his creator is another miracle, and He –to whom belongs might and majesty- called our attention to the miracle of creating spiritual creatures, and He called our attention to that He is the only one who is capable of these creatures, so He said: “O men! Here is a parable set forth! Listen to it! Those, on whom, besides Allah, ye call, cannot create (even) a fly, if they all met together for the purpose! And if they fly should snatch away anything from them, they would have no power to release it from fly. Feeble are those who petition and those whom they petition!” (AL-HAJ – VERESE 73)
Man created the car, train, airplane, rocket, T.V, radio and satellite …etc, but all human beings cannot create a fly even if they unite, and the reason is that the fly is a spiritual creature (being) that God breath life to it that no one has it, it is a secret of His secrets that He has. And one of the other creating miracle is that when God –to whom belongs might and majesty- wants to create something He will say to it “to be” (to exist) then it will exist, without effort or tiredness, and in this He said: “The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: “Be”: and he was.” (AALI-IMRAAN – VERSE 59)
And when the Jews allege that Allah had a rest after creating the creatures and He –The Right- replied by saying: “We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in six Days, nor did any sense of weariness touch us” (QAAF – VERSE 38)
So, which miracle is this? One word from Allah is able to create the creature without any effort of tiredness. So, how can man imagine the real of this miracle and ability?
Other miracles that The Right (God) is creating whatever He wants to, so if He wants to create something, nothing will prevent this creating, God confirms this truth by His saying: “He said: ‘ Even so; Allah createth what He willeth’” (AALI-IMRAAN – VERSE 47)
And His saying: “He created what He pleaseth. For Allah power over all things” (AL-MAAIDAH – VERSE 17)
And the divine creating is not a random (haphazard) creating, but it is an accurate (precise) one that based on a complete divine science, so if you contemplate the world and what it has of complementarily and coordination between the creatures, then you will know the extent (space) of God’s ability of creativeness and invention.
Look separately at any creature of God’s creatures, you will think that it is an independent creature, separated from what is around him, but look carefully, then you will find that this creature is not separated from world, but it is a part of all.
For example, man cannot imagine his existence with out the air around him all over the earth, or the water, which God to whom belongs majesty- provided, or the food, which is plant from the earth by God’s willing. So, with this point of view, man seems like a cogwheel in the world clock, no separation, and there is no existence for any of them without the other. That God created creatures and He created the life components for it in an unequaled creation, an unequaled knowledge and an unequaled excellence. In this God said: “He who created all things in the best way and He began the creation of man from clay” (AL-SAJDAH – VERSE 7)
So, if –The Right- God created this world in this artful and this accuracy so can we imagine that it is a creation without purpose and without aim? And that the matter is wombs that bring up and graves that swallow as the atheists said: “And they say: ‘what is there but our life in this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us” (AL-JATHIYA –VERSE 24)
And His saying: “and they say: ‘what! When we lie, hidden and lost, in the earth, shall we indeed be in a creation renewed? (AL-SAJDAH–VERSE 10)
Then God will reply to those atheists saying: “we created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends” (AL-HIJR – VERSE 85)
And He said: “Not for (idle) sport did we created the heavens and the earth and all that is between” (AL-ANBIYAA – VERSE 16)
And He said: “Did ye then think that we had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to us (for account)” (AL-MUUMINOON – 115)
So, creating is not vanity and not extinction and disappearance, but for a philosophy that God wants, that He said in the Holy Hadeeth: “I was a hidden treasure and I wanted to be known, so, I created creatures and then they knew me by me”
And He said in His Holly Book: “I have only created Jinn’s and men, that they may serve me” (AL-THAARIYAAT – VERSE 56)
So, God’s wisdom wanted to create the world and man, and to make the present life as a test place and the afterworld as a punishment, reward and decision place. So, is the man going to thank for this many grants or he will be ungrateful and be a polytheist and to deny? So, creating is for a purpose and the resurrection is a truth without doubt. In this God said: “O mankind! If ye have a doubt about the Resurrection (consider) that we created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech –like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that we may manifest (Our power) too you; and we cause whom we will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do we bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much). And (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when we pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life) it swells, and it puts forth every king of beautiful growth (in pairs)” (AL-HAJ – VERSE 5)
The matter will not stop on His ability of resurrection, but He is able to change the all human beings sex to another creatures and this is not difficult for Allah to do, that He said: “ O ye men! It is ye that have need of Allah: but Allah is the one free of all wants, worthy of all praise, if He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a new creation. Nor is that (at all) difficult for Allah” (FAATIR – VERSES 15, 16, 17)
So, if The Right (God) is the creative, inventive and the originated, then He is the only one who deserves the adoration and thanking. And to worship some one else is an injustice for the self and a neutrality from the right and in this God said: “Those whom they invoke besides Allah create nothing and are themselves created” (AL-NAHIL – VERSE 20)
And He said: “Yet have they taken, besides Him, gods that can create nothing but are themselves created” (AL-FURQAAN – VERSE 3)
God –be He blessed- is urging us to contemplate on His creatures because it has a big kind of urge to the faith (belief) of God’s existence and belief in the perfection of His attributes, messengers, books and the afterlife, that He said: “Behold! In the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the Night and the Day; in the sailing of the ships through the Ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which Allah sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth; (here) indeed are signs for a people that are wise” (AL-BAQARAH – VERSE 164)
And He said: “Behold! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of Night and Day, these are indeed signs for men of understanding, men who remember Allah standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (with the saying): ‘Our Lord not for naught hast Thou created all’ this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the chastisement of the fire” (AALI-IMRAAN – VERSES 190, 191)
And the 99 attributes (names) of God and what it gives of old attributes as God’s, so He is –be He blessed- is the creator before creating creatures, an if He wasn’t described with this description from sempiternity (eternity) then He wouldn’t be able to create whatever He wants and whenever he do, and in this He said: “Praise be to Allah, the originator of the heavens and the earth, who made the angels messengers with wings, two, or three, or four (pairs): He adds to creation as He pleases: for Allah has power over all things” (FAATIR – VERSE 1)
Whatever talk the speakers about this name (The Creator) and others of the names of God and through what God showed up them in The Holly Quran and Sunna, they will never discover the greatness (majesty) – (exaltedness) of His name and His attributes secrets. So, if we are unable to know what He shows to us, then, what is the hidden (invisible) which we yet didn’t prepare ourselves to receive that He kept in His knowledge?
The Creator is the originator of creatures, and He is the inventor without other type. So, we ask Him to teach us from His plentiful (exuberant-profuse) knowledge: “Verily, His are the creation and the command blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds!” (AL-AARRAF – VERSE 54)
